With the outbreak of measles happening in (of all places) America and Europe, you'd think that people will actually go and take some effort to get properly vaccinated in order to avoid the very real threat of being infected with measles.
Some people might complain that 1) vaccines are linked to autism, 2) parents should not be forced to have their children be vaccinated and 3) it only harms those who are not vaccinated. To which I say bullshit and argue thusly.
One, are you sure you are not mistaking causation and correlation? There is no proof to say that autism is linked to vaccination at all. Move on from that argument.
Two, yes. Yes we can. It's mandatory in some countries to be vaccinated and no one is complaining about it especially when it gets rid of harmful diseases like polio, smallpox and even measles back in the day when everyone was getting the damn vaccines.
Three, fuck you. Other children who have not been vaccinated and anyone with a compromised immune system are also at risk. This includes, the eldery and people with certain immune system deficiencies.
So suck it and take your vaccine shots.
