Fuck Jawi. Fuck Jawi for not wanting to think critically and fuck Jawi for being a religious police force. Of course, the only reason why I can constantly say this is because I know no one will ever read this but fuck Jawi.
I'm referring to the case where they detained a Turkish author over his lecture on Islam held here on the 24th. He was arrested the next day at KLIA and detained over the next few days. Why? Officially, the reason given is that he did not have a proper permit to give a lecture about religion. In reality? Jawi didn't like his message: that there is no compulsion in religion.
Of course there is no compulsion in religion. If there is, then there is no point to religion. Religion is and always will be a choice that we have to take. Otherwise, there is no faith behind our actions, only an act of parroting and I don't think God cares about parrots mimicking the actions of others.
So in conclusion, fuck Jawi. Fuck their intolerant and fundamentalistic view on religion and fuck their insistence that they are the only ones who are right. Fuck them all the way til kingdom comes.
